Founded in April 2020, our mission is to help both restaurants and families in need through our carefully designed business model. We opened our service with six restaurants and one of the founders making the deliveries. The timing of Local Bites Delivery aligned with a need being filled. As local restaurants needed to close down their dining areas with the pandemic, smaller locations ran by local families required options. Today, with the amazing support of our community, we continue to grow and thrive as a business.

What sets us apart from the rest?

When looking at the business models for other delivery services, we didn’t like that they didn’t offer anything to help smaller, family-owned restaurants. Did you know they charge 25% or more of the total bill for a restaurant that is not a large franchise? For many of our favorite small businesses, that’s more than their profit margin. Not to mention, when you use these services, those delivery fees don’t go back into our community.

The foundation for Local Bites Delivery is rooted in our community. We’ve created a structure where our service touches on several key needs for what we feel contributes to a thriving local economy and community support.

• We are providing new employment opportunities through hiring drivers.
• Providing expansion of service options for restaurants by inviting them onto the platform at zero cost to them. No signup fees, listing fees, advertisement fees, or % of the bill.
• We advertise the restaurants on our service, providing free advertising and the potential for new customers and increased sales.
• Because we work with small and family-owned businesses that can’t afford the cost of other delivery services out there, our service increases local spending through the convenience and expansion of options when consumers look to have a meal delivered.
• We give back to the community by donating 20% of our profits to a local food bank and run fundraiser days where 100% of the profits will be donated.
